“I Will Not Stay Silent” – Bouba Ndour Hits Back at Homosexuality Claims, Calls Out PASTEF Lawmaker

Bouba Ndour, Director of Programmes at TFM, has responded publicly after what he described as sustained personal and political attacks against him, including allegations accusing him of homosexuality.

Speaking on Quartier Général, he denounced the claims about his private life as defamatory and warned he would no longer stay silent. He also took aim at Cheikh Bara Ndiaye, a PASTEF lawmaker in Senegal’s National Assembly, accusing him of repeatedly targeting TFM.

The remarks come as pressure around the channel has grown since the arrest of former Quartier Général presenter Pape Cheikh Diallo, who has remained in custody since early February, in a widening case that prosecutors linked to alleged “unnatural acts” and the intentional transmission of HIV, and which has since led to at least 40 arrests.
