Government Silent as Senegal Demolishes Part of Gambian Military Camp

The Gambian government has yet to issue an official statement after Senegalese forces demolished part of the perimeter fence at Bullock Military Camp in Foni, West Coast Region. The military installation, constructed during former President Yahya Jammeh’s administration, has become the centre of a renewed territorial dispute between The Gambia and Senegal.

Videos from the scene are already circulating widely, yet neither the government nor the Ministry of Information has explained what happened, confirmed the extent of the damage or told Gambians how it intends to respond.
