UPDATE: Hope Arrives for Amadi Jobe as Wheelchair, Medical Support and Clothing Donations Follow The Fatu Network Story

Written by: Alieu Jallow

Less than 48 hours after The Fatu Network shared Amadi Jobe’s story, compassionate members of the public have come forward with an outpouring of support.

Hamadi Sowe, a donor, has provided a wheelchair for Amadi, offering renewed hope to the young man whose story touched many. The Fatu Network team is expected to present the wheelchair to him tomorrow.

Arrangements have also been made for Amadi to be examined by a medical doctor, who will assess his condition and advise on the treatment and care he may require.

Support has also come from beyond The Gambia. Ousman Jallow, a Gambian living in the United Kingdom who is also a person with a disability, has pledged to provide Amadi with clothing, demonstrating that compassion knows no borders.

The Fatu Network extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who has contributed to supporting Amadi. Your generosity has given him renewed hope and shown the difference that can be made when a community comes together.
