So… I think it’s probably time I properly introduce myself.

For more than a month now, some of my writings have been featured here on @Fatu Network, and I realised something slightly embarrassing:

I’ve been showing up, writing my thoughts, sharing my opinions, occasionally getting people talking… and I haven’t properly introduced myself to many of you.

So, let me correct that.

I am Ramatulai.

I write mostly about women, relationships, femininity, marriage, self-worth and the complicated little space where ambition and love meet.

I’m particularly passionate about high-achieving women—women who are capable, independent, ambitious and used to holding everything together, but who sometimes struggle to bring that same confidence and ease into their intimate relationships.

But before I became someone who writes and coaches women, I was simply a woman trying to figure life out myself.

I’ve been married for many years and have spent more than 13 years in leadership positions. Much of what I share comes from that combination of lived experience, observation, mistakes, lessons and, quite frankly, being humbled by life more times than I care to count. 😂

And perhaps that is why I don’t always fit neatly into one category.

Some people call me a supporter of men only.

Others call me a feminist.

I’m honestly quite comfortable with both.

I believe women deserve to be empowered, respected and free to become everything they are capable of becoming.

But supporting women doesn’t mean we have to lose empathy for men.

Sometimes I challenge women. Sometimes I challenge men. And sometimes I challenge everyone—including myself. 😂

I remember a very gentle man who once commented on one of my posts:

“I wish you were my wife.”

A couple of weeks later, after reading another post I shared, he returned and said:

“My friend, bo sayyut bayil nitnyi nyu sai.”

Basically, “If you don’t want to be married, let others be.”😂

I found it hilarious.

But it also captures something about my content: depending on which post you read, you may have a very different idea of who I am.

One of my favourite things to be called, however, is a feminine woman.

I believe femininity can coexist with ambition. You can be strong and still be soft. You can lead and still receive. You can be independent and still desire partnership. You can have a big career and still want to be deeply loved and cherished.

These are conversations I care deeply about.

And they have now become much more than conversations for me.

I coach high-achieving women, mostly through group programmes and communities, helping them navigate relationships, femininity and the parts of life that professional success doesn’t necessarily prepare us for.

I also offer one-to-one coaching for women who want more personalised support, and I’ve built a subscriber community where we go deeper into these conversations.

But honestly, writing has taken me places I never quite expected.

Which brings me to @Fatu Network.

I want to sincerely thank the team at @Fatu Network for giving my writing a home here and for trusting my voice enough to feature my work.

As a writer, there is something incredibly humbling about putting your thoughts out into the world and having someone else say, “We think this is worth sharing too.”

So, thank you. Truly.

And to those of you who have been reading my pieces here—whether you agree with me, disagree with me, laugh with me, get annoyed with me, or occasionally think, “Hmmm… this woman has a point” 😂—thank you.

I don’t take your attention for granted.

I’m still learning. Still growing. Still figuring things out.

And probably still going to write things that make some of you nod vigorously while others head straight for the comment section. 😂

But I hope that somewhere between the serious conversations, uncomfortable truths and occasional mischief, you find something that makes you think, reflect, laugh—or see yourself and your relationships a little differently.

And since I’ve finally introduced myself, if you’re comfortable doing so, I’d love for you to introduce yourself too.

No pressure at all.

You can tell me your name, where you’re joining us from, what you do, or simply what brought you to my writing.

And if you’d rather remain quietly in the background, that’s perfectly okay too.

Either way, I’m grateful you’re here.

So, hello Fatu Network.

And thank you for welcoming me into your community.
