Written by: Dawda Baldeh

Authorities launched a manhunt for Pa Musa Njie, a local artist known by the stage name “Godzylha”, in connection with a high value residential burglary. Njie, described by investigators as a habitual offender, is accused of stealing valuables worth over D1 million in a case that was first reported at Tallinding Police Station before being transferred to Bundung Police Station in September 2025.

According to police, Njie allegedly broke into a private residence and stole a large quantity of luxury items and household goods. The stolen property reportedly included over 30 designer female handbags, multiple suitcases filled with women’s and children’s clothing, high end living room furniture, premium carpets, bathroom accessories, white “Lifetime” folding tables, and several high value kitchen appliances.

Bundung Police say several of the stolen items have since been recovered after being traced to individuals who unknowingly purchased them. Investigators, however, say efforts are still ongoing to recover the remaining goods and locate the suspect.

Police describe Njie as a repeat offender with a history of theft dating back to his youth. Investigators also say he has cut off his signature dreadlocks in what they believe is an attempt to avoid identification and arrest.

Njie, who is identified as the son of Fatou Sarr and Bamba Njie, is believed to be on the run. Police are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any credible information that could lead to his arrest.
