Investigation Underway After Senegalese TikTok Star Dies in Fall From Apartment During DLEAG Drug Raid in Kerr Sering

The Drug Law Enforcement Agency The Gambia (DLEAG) says an investigation is underway into the death of popular Senegalese TikTok personality Kalidou Diallo, widely known as “Lom De Ziguinchor,” following a drug enforcement operation at an apartment building in Kerr Sering on August 15.

According to DLEAG Public Relations Officer Dawda Sanyang, Diallo died after falling from the second floor of the building while narcotics officers were conducting an operation at the premises.

“The Senegalese national died after he fell from the second floor of an apartment building in Kerr Sering while our officers raided the said apartment on August 15,” Sanyang confirmed.

DLEAG said two people were inside the apartment at the time of the operation and that illegal drugs were subsequently recovered from the premises.

One person has since been taken into custody to assist with the investigation.

The agency said the incident has been reported to the Senegalese Embassy and the Gambia Police Force (GPF).

The GPF has opened an investigation to establish the exact circumstances surrounding Diallo’s fatal fall.
