UAE Accuses Iran While Also Facing Sudan War Allegations

While the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is accusing Iran of launching missile and drone attacks on targets along its Gulf of Oman coast, Sudan is simultaneously accusing the UAE of backing devastating attacks in the Sudanese capital Khartoum and supporting the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), the paramilitary group widely accused of massacres, ethnic killings, atrocities, and mass displacement during the country’s brutal civil war since 2023.

Sudan has even taken the matter to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), while U.S.-backed monitors and intelligence reports have separately linked alleged UAE arms shipments to the RSF rebels.

Sudanese officials now also say they have evidence that four drone attacks were launched from Ethiopia using UAE-supplied drones targeting key infrastructure and military sites.
