Popular Gambian health advocate Nurse Nyima, through the Nurse Nyima Health and Wellness Foundation, has donated medical supplies to the sickbay, the campus clinic, at UTG Faraba Banta Campus, including blood pressure machines, antibiotics, urinalysis kits, emergency resuscitation masks, bandages and sanitary pads.

The donation was officially received by the University of The Gambia Students’ Union as students and health officials raised concerns about ongoing challenges affecting healthcare services on campus.

With student healthcare services facing ongoing pressure, the donation delivers critical supplies where they are needed most.
