Africell Gambia has mobilised support for the national team by hiring five buses to transport 300 fans to the upcoming Gambia–Senegal clash, scheduled to kick off at 19:00 GMT.
The leading telecommunications company is facilitating transportation, covering match tickets, and providing lunch for sponsored supporters, allowing fans to focus on backing the team. In addition, Africell has partnered with the Gambia Police Force to ensure security throughout the journey and at the venue.
The initiative forms part of Africell’s broader corporate social responsibility efforts, particularly in promoting national unity and youth engagement through sport. The company has, over the years, supported a range of community-driven activities aimed at empowering young people and strengthening social cohesion.
Through this initiative, Africell is contributing to efforts to support the national team and encourage public engagement through sport.
